ClausB #1 Posted May 29, 2016 In high school and college, before I could afford a full computer, I enjoyed programming my TI SR-56 and TI-59 calculators. The user group scene was strong and their newsletters were full of interesting tricks and clues into the machines' inner workings. More recently I have collected some lower end TI programmables and discovered a few of their secrets. In the spirit of the old newsletters, I wrote a few articles: http://atariage.com/forums/gallery/image/12238-ti-55-57-mba/
Thomas Jentzsch #2 Posted May 30, 2016 Are you in contact with AA member Andrew Davie? He is collecting calculators too (Soviet ones! ). His website seems to be down though.
ClausB #3 Posted June 1, 2016 That name sounds familiar. I might have seen him in a forum. I just posted another TI-57 article: http://www.rskey.org/CMS/index.php/the-library/
Andrew Davie #4 Posted June 5, 2016 Are you in contact with AA member Andrew Davie? He is collecting calculators too (Soviet ones! ). His website seems to be down though. A few years ago somebody hacked the site, and a hundred or so pages were 'infected' with a trojan script. I couldn't be stuffed editing them all to remove it, so I took the site down. I don't really collect much anymore, except the high end programmables.
