Ska_music_fan83 #1 Posted May 31, 2016 I'm a big music geek (as you can probably tell from my name ) in addition to being a video game geek so I am usually listening to music when I play video games. I was curious if those of you who do the same have found music that seems to go really well with particular games whether it helps build on the mood of the game, gets you psyched up to beat the game, or maybe is a song that always reminds you of a particular game for some reason.I have quite a few examples but I'll just put two down here at first..."Castlevania: Symphony of the Night" with the "Live - Throwing Copper" album.Live's sound seems to flow really well with the overall mood of Castlevania to me. Plus killing hordes of werewolves and zombies while listening to the song "Shit Towne" is humorous."Mario Kart: Double Dash" with the "Collective Soul - Disciplined Breakdown" album. This cd always reminds me of Double Dash because my brother and I used to listen to it while trying to beat the cups and unlock everything in single player mode. Specifically remember finally beating Rainbow Road (after probably 30 or so attempts) to win the Mirror Cup while listening to the song "Precious Declaration". That was a wonderful day!
