VIC 20 Plug & Play S-video Mod

In case anyone here is interested, there is now an easy s-video mod available for the VIC 20. Mine came in today, so I made a video showing the installation and comparing the video output via composite and s-video.

Nice. My advice is that you bring down your colour saturation on the monitor, perhaps also increase brightness a bit. It will make the BASIC screen actually look white-ish instead of that awful cappucino brown. Most games won't suffer from lack of colour anyway, actually you might get even better clarity when the colour is down.

Ha ha, you're the third person to comment on the colors. The guy who came up with this mod recommending tweaking R7, so I'm going to try that to see if the colors come out better.

Thanks for sharing the video. I was definitely interested in seeing how difficult it would be to perform the mod and really enjoyed the action around the 6 minute mark lol.
