Nebulon #1 Posted June 8, 2016 I'm curious to see posts about development hardware for old consoles and even arcade machines. I'll start by posting this cool video featuring Dreamcast development hardware:
Thrillo #2 Posted June 19, 2016 I saw a 3DO devkit at a thrift store about 15 years ago; it was interesting to see that it was pretty much just a PC with a 3DO Blaster, a few odd switches on the face, & stickers stating that it was a devkit. Otherwise I'd have assumed it was just another old PC. Unfortunately I was too broke at the time to buy it, so its now lost to the sands of time :-/
Blur2040 #3 Posted June 19, 2016 I have a blue PlayStation debugger. You should go to www.assemblergames.com to get your fill of debits and other obscurities.
MotoRacer #4 Posted June 19, 2016 I've owned several PS and Sega dev kits. I've owned a PS2 Tool, a PSP Tool, debug TEST PS2, debug TEST slim model, debug PS1 (blue one), two Sega Katanas, etc. I've sold all of them, as I had my fill with them in some way or another, with the exception of my fat TEST debug PS2, as it serves as my primarily playstation as it offers region free gaming without any hassle.
