I fiddled around with a few other games, but with keyboard control, Frostbite, River Raid etc. are frustrating trainwrecks for me. With a proper joystick, getting those patches should be easy. I'll get back to them. So here's my first (and probably one of the easiest patches to get): Pitfall! At least I'm on the board now. CubeOfTheDead Posted June 18, 2016 Share Posted June 18, 2016 Five more patches for me. I got Spider Fighter, Chopper Command, Sky Jinks, Freeway, and Skiing. Skiing has so far been the hardest to achieve. It took me many resets to get that one. Chopper Command was really easy, only took a couple of minutes to get. It has also been my least favourite game so far. Crackpots is up next. Patch #1 for me - Chopper Command, score of 11,300. This is the first time I'm really playing the Atari this month, and man I haven't played any of the Activision titles for a bit. I need to contact a mod so I can mod the page. I only have 30 days to edit my posts. I'll give Albert a hollar and see if he can let me mod it so I can update that post beyond 30 days. It is great to see a lot participate and we are storming out of the gate in patches. I have a feeling we will surpass last years's 236. BurritoBeans Posted June 19, 2016 Share Posted June 19, 2016 Three more for me... #2 - Ice Hockey This is my first game I have to emulate, I've seen the cartridge locally but I never picked it up as I had no idea if it would be much fun - after doing this, yeah I think I'll pick it up, it seems like it could be fun for a few people. I played this first round and won, and then I ended up doing three more, it's fairly enjoyable and still really simple. #3 - Laser Blast - 100,710 points Holy crap I forgot how fast this game cramps my hands. I went in saying "I'm going for the million", picked up my joystick, and fired it up... ten minutes later and my hand is dying - I don't think I'll be doing the 1,000,000, but hey, 100,000 is still pretty nice to me. #4 - Pitfall - 20,695 points Alright, this is the first time I've even got to 20,000 points in Pitfall, and I'm real happy to have done that. I kinda suck at the game (if that wasn't obvious enough), but whatever, it's cool to finally be doing better at it and I think I'm going to give it some more time to try and beat that score. 4 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
