arcadegeek23 #1 Posted June 17, 2016 Heading to Nashville for a conference next week and wondering if anyone has any favorite Retro game stores that carry some vintage stuff (2600, INTY) or 7800 and Lynx.
Osgeld #2 Posted June 17, 2016 (edited) this is my go to shop https://www.google.com/maps/place/Game+Trader/@36.2954148,-86.70209,15z/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x0:0xec3b0106dbe95bf2!8m2!3d36.2954148!4d-86.70209 its not really anything special, usually has a good inventory, but its in a mall district, so its got mall prices. If your downtown its about eh 15-20 drive up I65 north, take the 386 split and the first exit (or take the first exit after the 386 split, the split is like 2 lanes wide so its quite noticeable). His pre crash inventory is quite flexible, sometimes he has a ton of it, sometimes he bulk sells it off as a lot. Good thing is the precrash stuff is usually a good deal, when available I was getting 2600 commons for 2 for a dollar oh protip, if you get off at the second exit on 386 there's Centerpoint BBQ which was on Dinners Drive in's and Dives http://www.foodnetwork.com/restaurants/tn/hendersonville/center-point-pit-barbecue-restaurant/center-point-pit-barbecue-videos.html Edited June 17, 2016 by Osgeld
Jdubya #3 Posted June 17, 2016 I went to nashville last year for a counting crows concert and had a few hours to kill...I went to an arcade called game galaxy...it had a great selection of retro games at that time for sale...7800, 5200, games and such...I'm not from that area but thought the selection was good for sale and there were cabinets and pins galore to play
arcadegeek23 #4 Posted June 19, 2016 Thanks Osgeld and Jdubya for the tips. I will try and hit both of those.
