Upcoming Jaguar Game Drive Cartridge

Can't express enough, I would be incredibly interested in this. If this becomes available, please add me to the waiting list... and I'm serious this time! Haha...

I literally buy every serious game that gets released for the Jaguar, and would love to have a system that I could pull the roms down so I could load them on SD.

Thanks!

@ SainT is the game menu going to have the option to add new box art and screenshots?

Not the menu, no. You create a MRQ (marquee) file with a tool on the PC which contains the images and details (title / dev / pub / year) of the game and name it the same as the ROM file, and these details will get shown with the ROM image.

Unless you're up to test the beta I doubt anything is happening before then. Based on the others Saint has done, this still has a ways to go software and hardware wise before he's ready to call it ready, then manufacturing will be a few batches at a time. I'm in no rush but definitely not expecting it in less than three months from now.

A video update on the progress being made with the JaguarSD. It's more of a talky than a video, but I wanted to brush up on some video and audio editing skills to make the coming videos less rubbish. Enjoy!

SainT, you phukkin' rock, man. :)

What's your encore after you finish this? Tackling a 7800 SD Cart Adapter, you say??? :)

I don't think anyone's suggested this before, but an ST Cart SD Adapter could be interesting. There've been some games ported to Cart format in the past. It would certainly load faster than a Gotek and might be less expensive than an UltraSatan...

Now, that would show promise, and we would not need to modify our STs! Good idea. :)
