cbmeeks #1 Posted June 29, 2016 What's the latest on the new CV board replacements? I believe there were two of them right? The official threads seem to have tapered off or stopped altogether. Thanks.
+5-11under #2 Posted June 29, 2016 Mine has just been stalled, at least for now. Fortunately, though, I am pretty much caught up with other work, so we'll see what happens... .
cbmeeks #3 Posted June 29, 2016 That's good to hear. I read most of the other thread but I can't remember what all you had planned. Would you mind a recap of the planned features? Thanks!
NIAD #4 Posted June 29, 2016 I read most of the other thread but I can't remember what all you had planned. Would you mind a recap of the planned features? If 5-11under has to keep recapping the possibilities of this in-development drop-in replacement CV board, he will never have time to finish it! Anyway, as you stated, it's all in the other thread. +5-11under #7 Posted July 12, 2016 5-11Under am still willing to supply an rgb monitor if you are able to include rgb output support in your board As it happens, I actually have an RGB monitor now. I still need to test it, though.
Vectorman #8 Posted July 17, 2016 What's better about RGB instead of the more common component video, especially since the CV video chip outputs a form of component video already?
+5-11under #9 Posted July 18, 2016 What's better about RGB instead of the more common component video, especially since the CV video chip outputs a form of component video already? For the ColecoVision, yes, component/YPbPr is a very natural choice, and should give best results if done properly. RGB is loved by at least a couple of groups of people... those who use/prefer arcade monitors, and those who use the Framemeister (or similar device).
