Atarinuts #26 Posted May 4, 2003 IMHO, I think this hobby has a long way to go before the carts start dropping in price. I know that when I went to CGE2K2 in Vegas there were only about 15 dealers in the room and 2-3K people showed up. Compare this with the San Diego Comic Con. Between 80-100K people I think? And there were tons of people that played video games as kids. I'm not saying that we will ever reach those numbers, or that a Quadrun will reach $30K+ like an Amazing Fantasy 15, I'm just saying I think we've got a long way to go. broncoman #27 Posted May 4, 2003 im lucky to work in a used bookstore were we get decent atari stuff now and then one day my friend had some stuff come to the trade counter and before the deal was done this guy showed up and was foaming over the carts just regular stuff .but i did notice a crazy climber in decent shape and a shuttle orbiter . now when i came out of the back and we both made eye contact it was lieka old western with eye contact and all . but in the long run he new i had first dibs but im a fair guy i told him here take shuttle orbiter ill keep crazy climber he had a big smile on his face so i still thnk it was pretty funny !!!!!!
