tkarner
There's one on ebay right now with a buy-it-now of $199.95. Does the red label add such a premium or is the seller, how to say this politely... Optimistic?
DiscoDr.Bones
I got a new-in-box that happened to be a red label for $15 shipped a couple of months ago. I would call that extremely "optimistic."
jaybird3rd
I've opened HUNDREDS of factory-sealed Ballblazers in my time, and I can tell you that there's nothing special at all about the ones with red end labels. There are about as many of them as there are standard grey end labels.
CPUWIZ
I tossed about 50 of those labels, stripping BB's.

AtariBrian
Your making this game more rare. Nobody actually sits and plays it anyways
Shawn
Your making this game more rare. It's not rare. I've killed a good lot of them myself as well. I stripped a whole case of them a few years ago. What do you think is happening to that lot of 100 of them that sold on ebay recently? They are going to be stripped for the pokey chip, maybe keep the shell and toss the rest. Can't you recycle the boxes and manuals?
CPUWIZ
Most people do not care. I once got a box full of BB's from Cassidy, he removed the circuit boards and they went to arcade guys, for the POKEY. Half of that box was red-labels, IIRC. I bet I posted a pic of the box back then.

Shawn
Can't the boxes and manuals be recycled into newspapers or phone books... etc...? Yes for sure I send the paper to the recycling.
jaybird3rd
Can't the boxes and manuals be recycled into newspapers or phone books... etc...? Maybe, but who reads newspapers and phone books anymore? I got rid of (some of) my boxes and manuals by pouring a foundation on top of them.
Jinks
I would use to start fires in my firepit. Reusing can be fun.
