Joey Z
Is there a good program to display a test pattern or something to adjust RGB for the VBXE? Frank in the VBXE examples, there is a DAC test which displays a red green blue and white bar going from 0 up to 255 at column 255, then decreasing again as it goes to column 320. Rybags
How do you adjust RGB? Is that something offered on the monitor? Stuff like colour temperature and bias towards "reddish", "bluish" etc. will alter the RGB balance from what it should be. It's easy to tell if something like that is going on with a pure white display. It should be white, not with hints one or more primary colours dominant or lacking. Note that the Atari palette itself with 256 colours is based on the LAOO palette and doesn't contain "pure" primary colours. Colour generated by GTIA is generally desaturated so even for a "pure" looking blue there will be green and red mixed in.

Frankie
I have run the DAC demo but it doesn't always show enough to understand the blending of colors. I am using a GBS-8220 upscaler that allows the adjustment of R G B. Three little pots that let me tweak it. Using white is most helpful. Frankie
Atari Control Picture Is there a screen shot of other atari's running this?
rocky
The color palette laoo in VBXE is wrong. "Real Arari" (from GTIA) has better colors. Just compare backround of basic between VBXE and GTIA. On VBXE blue color is to light. In ACP (Atari Control Picture) we can see differences beetween black color and first grey.. grey is too light.
