Are the ratings in the rarity guide relative by system?

 

It seems to me that a "1" for the 7800 is not the same as a "1" for the 2600.

Rarity, just like it says.

 

I don't think there was ever a single 7800 cartridge for sale in my hometown... EVER. (Ever.)

 

I just don't see how there can be as many of even the most common 7800 games floating around in the world as there are, for instance, Combat or Pac-Man for the 2600.

Combat and Pac-Man 2600 are definitely more common than any 7800 cart, but a lot of 7800 carts are easy to come by NIB for $5 or less.

Yeah, I suppose both the supply AND the demand for 7800 games is a lot lower.
