Wisdom Tree Plug and Play Kickstarter!

Yeah We are not doing the KS to get profits. We went and will go to KS only in side projects like these, that won't make a lot of money. To me, it is still good as I know the information of 341 customers that may be interested in the future if we port SNA3D to Genesis on our pocket. =D

Well you know mine. I've bought from you before and even stuck my neck out on NA more than once. I'm lucky I still have my head! :P

So I received my Arkade pad in the mail today.

It's nice to finally see it :D I wonder, how much of those were shipped in Europe?

So it come in a nice-looking box, with the pad, an instruction manual, a question book for the Bible Buffet game (in game, you only have a page reference, so without the booklet you're pretty much shotting in the dark), and an USB power supply.

The pad quality is decent, but not great It pertty much feel like one of those 5$ USB gamepad, but it does the job.

There are two switches, one on/off and a reset switch. The Arkade connect to the TV with a 3 RCA connector and USB for power. The cable is about 1,5 metres long, which some might consider short, but it's all standard connections so one can buy more cables to sit further from the TV.

Once powered, the Arkda display a rather cheap screen, tho each of the game/cart listed display an in-game picture so it does the job! It does feels something from BITD, and the irritating music is also very reminiscent of cheap menus for NES compilation carts or consoles clones.

As far as emulation goes, it seems to play OK. I haven't noticed anything special... As far as the games goes, they do all of their glitches likes they are supposed to.

I noticed that there was some odd display issues, but that mgiht be from the power supply I used (I haven't found an adapter to plug the power supply on my European outlets).

So, for now, it does the job. It's more of a collectible item than anything, but heh, they are Widsom Tree games!

Really worked hard to catch the feel honestly. We had the opportunity to go with just an emulator in the controller but I don't know, didn't appealed to me so went with NOAC.

Well so far I found it does the job well. Well I guess none of the Wisdom Tree games use any kind of special chips or mapper, except maybe Spiritual Warfare because it have more data, so a NOAC sounds like the best options for such a thing.

I believe they all (Wisdom Tree and Color Dreams) pretty much all use the same mapper based on 74xx logic, so programming a micro or something to handle the menu selection and bankswitch logic would be child's play compared to those 32 megabyte XXX-1 MMC3 clones China is piping out now.

Aw man, sorry to hear that. :( That's a bummer I know how frustrating that can be.

Thanks so much for the updates and your hard work!

Yeah Genesis, yet again got bad boards. Hoping to resolve this ASAP!
