RangerG
Does anyone use the Lynx sun visor? The sun visor seems like a good way to have a permanent screen protector when the Lynx is not in use, but do you need to take it on and off? It seems to be at too steep an angle to keep it on when not outside - is this true? Or, is it something to always keep on?
vectrexroli
I guess you just can use one of those clear screen protectors. I use them on my GPS, video camera, 3DS and mobile phone, but it should work also on the Lynx I guess.
BadPricey
I use one for screen protection on each of my Lynx's. The angle is a little steep when trying to play indoors (can be done), I never use mine outdoors. They are easy to remove and refit though, it takes seconds. Level42
You can't see anything without one in sunlight......unless you upgrade the LCD. I've used it in the past. But it's mostly a screen protector now.
Rick Dangerous
I use it as a screen protector and typically snap it off when I play. BUT---with the bright new Lynx LCD, it's good for cutting down on ambient light when playing in bed at night if the missus is trying to sleep. This is a new use I've found for it lately.

cowdog360
That's a great idea for a screen protector. I just ordered one from Best Electronics today along with some other stuff.
Rick Dangerous
Ordered a second screen protector new in box today. Now both my Lynx's will be safe! They made a funky looking one for the model one as well...may have to grab that eventually.
Trew
It took me ages to find one for the Lynx 1 on eBay. If anyone knows a place with them in stock (boxed) would be helpful.

Go to Best Electronics using This Link and you can find them new for like $8 in sealed boxes. You have to buy a minimum order of $20 from him, so I'd say get the Large Lynx carrying case as well.. they are also new sealed and a STEAL at $15. Trew
Ah, not a bad shout! Best isn't great for non-US orders (shipping costs etc). But... I'm likely moving to the US soon, so can hook myself when I get there. I have a few of the large Lynx cases, but not boxed, and all shiny and new, so that's a good call. Video
Its a must have if you take your lynx with you (works great in sunlight) inside its not necessary but works great as a screen protector. I have no issues with the angle you hold the system at. There are a few " vertical" games that are an issue but for the most part mine lives on my lynx. Its flexible enough to easily be removable but I rarely do.
ZLevee
Sold out for Lynx I (been a few years I know) at Best Electronics - anyone know where else to find a Lynx I visor these days?
gilsaluki
Try Telegames UK. He had some as of a few months ago. Used, but in the box and good condition.
