AtariDevRiot #1 Posted April 29, 2003 Does anyone here like GTA Vice City? I think it's an OK game. I like GTA 3 a lot better though.
Gregory DG #2 Posted April 29, 2003 I'll get it when the superior PC version comes out. I have been playing GTA3 a lot lately and I love it! It's fun to be able to do things you'd never consider doing in real life. I especially like kicking the $#i+ out of the cops. "Give *ME* a ticket, will ya!?" The MilkMan #3 Posted April 30, 2003 Vice City kicks! I played GTA2 and 3 but vice rulz 'em all! The missions are a blast, all cars are available anywhere, unlike GTA3 where to get certain cars you have to be in certain districts. Crotch rockets, Harleys, dirtbikes, mopeds, helicopters, WOW! And the soundtrack! The 80's theme alone makes this game, for me, the best PS2 title out there!
Brad2600 #4 Posted April 30, 2003 I love the game! I've beaten most of it and own about 8 properties so far! Still going to try and get 100%..though it's a daunting task.
CPUWIZ #5 Posted April 30, 2003 Although I don't own it, check this out: 4,986,973 units sold = $245,218,
MegaManFan #6 Posted April 30, 2003 Although I don't own it, check this out: 4,986,973 units sold = $245,218,800 Now you know how I can afford classic video games. Seriously R, what part of Pac-Man World 2 did you work on? I almost picked up a copy today but I didn't know how much of it was yours, although for $20 the price is certainly right. *heh*

Vic George 2K3 #8 Posted April 30, 2003 Given what I heard about its content, I'm steering clear of any GTA games. And I find the GTA: Vice City commercial's use of the Flock Of Seagulls "I Ran" a good way to destroy one's memory of a song that had all the innocence of TRON had this band been called to do the musical soundtrack to the movie. No thanks!
shep #9 Posted May 2, 2003 Im not too keen on the GTA games, too much mindless violence, but it is somewhat ammusing for awhile.
KaineMaxwell #10 Posted May 4, 2003 Vice City kicks ass- the music, gameplay, the look! VC's my stress reliver. Nothing like after a bad time at work with friends coming in and shooting up the place.
weird-gamer #11 Posted May 4, 2003 I rented it for PS2. I didn't like it. Run around and steal cars and kill people. Ugh..
SuperDork3000 #12 Posted May 5, 2003 This game does kick major ass! Definitly not for mommas boys
Brad2600 #13 Posted May 5, 2003 Speaking of GTA:VC, one of the drawbacks of memory cards is that they sometimes end up with a corrupted save file. This happened with one of my save files for GTA:VC...had to restart a new game and then save. Turns out my brother was using too many cheat codes... Good thing I beat some sense into him!
