Rick Dangerous
I have been thinking about getting a Lynx I to round out my collection lately and have been having an issue finding a nice clean one. They all seem to be scratched up in one spot or another and look like the hand held of choice for the Road Warrior in some post-apocalyptic future. Is it because they were painted? Any tips to find a nice used one? Any repair or re-paint options that don't look terrible? Tips for care to avoid this? I don't want to give up and buy a new in box one for gougey prices... Thanks! sirlynxalot
I got a refurbished one from Best Electronics a couple years ago. It's in excellent cosmetic condition except that the D-pad came with a small gauge in the plastic. I'd easily recommend Best Electronics if he's still selling them at a decent price.
cowdog360
Anyone notice the DPAD on that one? It's a totally different design that the others I've seen. Normally they are all black, or all gray, and flatter... Wierd!
Trew
I have one here. Photo of it next to the one I bought off you for comparison The all grey is a PAG200, and the black/grey is PAG201 (FWIW).
cowdog360
So there must be 3 models of button colors then on the Lynx I. Cool!
