Bikerbob
Ok guys, sorry if I am not a power user, but I have been reading, and I am not getting it. The latest version of RespeQt HAS PCLink in it OR NO? I am using a standard serial sio2pc working great with ResqeQt now.. so what do I need to do to get the PCL: device up and running. Thanks James
flashjazzcat
If communications are already working across standard disk devices (A:, B:, etc from SDX), then the only extra step required is to extract and load the PCLINK.SYS driver on the Atari (using the same methods you employed with FATFS.SYS). Then you can work with PCLink volumes by specifying PCLn: at the command line (where n is the drive letter corresponding to the RespeQt drive slots). With SDX 4.48, you can even make a PCLink volume the default logged device (by typing 'PCLn:' at the prompt). No further steps are required at the RespeQt end either, since all slots are accessible by conventional means and via the PCLink ($6F) device. TheMontezuma
You have to compile RespeQt source code (current version from Gitgub), or you can download binaries if you are Windows user: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/248426-pclinksys-support/page-2?do=findComment&comment=3514314 More description about PCLINK and RespeQt: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/248426-pclinksys-support/?do=findComment&comment=3506183
