mizapf #1 Posted August 4, 2016 This is my updated XModem program running in native GeneveOS. I started with it some years ago, but there was an ugly bug that was able to wipe the filesystem on the target device on the Geneve if you provided some uncommon file names. This is now fixed, so it is time for a re-release. You can see two screenshots, one on the emulated Geneve, one on the real Geneve, as they exchange files by SENDX and RECEIVEX. Both programs and their source codes are contained in the attached disk image. I coupled both ends by means of the serial bridge inside TIImageTool. Also, while hunting this bug, I discovered some bugs in the serial bridge of TIImageTool as well as a few glitches in the MAME emulation of the 9902 and the TI RS232 serial card. You know, it's always like this, you're just about to fix a seemingly small bug, and then things grow bigger than expected. (At least I had some incentive to do some tests of the serial connections again.) Additionally, I updated the page on Ninerpedia about the line mapper in MAME: http://www.ninerpedia.org/index.php?title=MESS_Serial_connection#Line_mapper (which showed to me that the 8-20 mapping was flawed) You should download a new version of TIImageTool, and if you have the MAME source, do a pull and rebuild. If you're not working with serial communication, this may be less interesting for you, so no need to hurry. xmodem.dsk
