The Atari 5200 Podcast (New Podcast)

Recommended Posts

Thanks for the interview last night, it was a lot of fun.  I could have gone on talking for another couple hours, if Bob didn't have to leave.

Can't wait to hear the finished product.

It will probably be decent, but I really think they need to find better guests.

I like to hear from the developers.  Thanks for doing the interview.

Sweet!  Just received notification from IOS.  I hadn't been on the forums yet today.

Can't wait to listen, later today.

Oooh, I'll listen to this tonight after work.  I'm sure I sound like a dork.

@AverageSoftware You did not sound like a dork.  Always cool to hear from the developers.  Excellent interview all-around.  I can't wait to try out Magical Fairy Force (especially with a trak-ball) and I really can't wait to see the demo for your next project. Very nice reveal...only available on the Atari 5200 Podcast.😉

They only got the exclusive scoop because Bob kept telling me Curling was great.

Looks like Atari Corp may have had an inventory of 4 port 5200's and factory modded them to not require Ole Sparky. Thanks to Teenretrogamer for posting this on AA and for Jeremy Holloway for sharing it on FB.

Capt. Bob is our PRGE 2019 Correspondent on the scene. Here is a sneak peak at prototype for the new Average Software game Magical Fairy Force. You saw it live first from the Atari 5200 Podcast. Get your Track Balls ready :)

I quote Capt. Bob, "Had a good discussion how the Masterplay is the one of the best peripherals for the 5200 and the Trak Ball is a MUST! "

It was nice to meet Jenovi, Ryan and Captain Bob.👍

Ryan - thanks again for signing my games. You do realize that you are a celebrity now.😉

@David Alexander We’ll have to find a way to get you to next years PRGE.

L-R, Jenovi, Ryan Witmer (AKA AverageSoftware) author of Realsports Curling and Ratcatcher fame, myself and Captain Bob.

@sramirez2008 now has the only signed copies of Ratcatcher and RealSports Curling.  I don't even have any of those!

So here's a picture of us after I signed his Ratcatcher.  The Fairy Force demo is right behind us.

I also found a copy of Zone Ranger, which makes me really happy.  Only 9 games left to find!
