I don't fully understand Atari and Polyvox (Gradiente) deal, but I always considered Polyvox as original...

Now, this is something I really don't know about. Did Polyvox get the license to make this change? Or maybe Atari original deal with Polyvox couldn't forbid such changes...

Yeah, cheap way to make Atari consoles...

I never had one of these as none of my friends.

I was surprised when I saw lots of this model in internet sales. They also have joysticks hard wired...

Oh wow, never knew Phoenix or Centipede were pack-ins ever! Amazing how different "markets" are or are perceived to be.

 

Then again, found it funny Breakout was the original pack-in for the 5200 here. Space Invaders maybe. Pac-Man for sure. but Breakout?

We had many different pac-ins here in Germany: Combat, Pac-Man, Phoenix, Vanguard, Centipede, 32 in 1...
