Osgeld #1 Posted August 9, 2016 (edited) I made this nintoaster eh ~3 years ago when I got a NES with a broken to all hell case and working motherboard it is fitted into one of the cheapest toasters ever made, direct from my then kitchen internal framework is 3/8th inch thick polypropylene cutting board, I saw the original nintoaster instructional videos and thought that gluing wimpy PCB material to thin crappy metal would not hold up that long, if you remove the toaster shell the internal framework is strong enough that my 217 LB butt can stand on it, so it should handle rage cart slams features smooth red LED lighting provided by 16 osram power top LED's aimed directly at the cart slot and off to full brightness control via the toaster darkness knob power switch is via front plunger and is held in place via hard drive magnet (so dont point the front to your CRT TV lol) giving a satisfying chunk and plunk up and down power switch actuation cart slot is from a NES game genie, it has a bit of a death grip but it is at the proper pitch, that being said there is nothing really keeping the cart from slopping side to side, but its not really been that much of a problem since I have been using it, just try and avoid kicking it video output is via a FMS6363 video processing chip, its more or less the same quality as a stock NES av output but with a little extra filtering to cut down on ghosting and pixel blur keep in mind this is all hand made with very little power tool interaction, so everything is a bit crooked, aka "rustic charm" comes with 9 volt DC power adapter (this only works on DC power unlike the original NES) AV cable 1 Aftermarket NES controller and of course the console if you want Ill throw in the kung-fu cart as well Asking 75$ + shipping COUSA only please (cant imagine getting this though customs lol) offers accepted lazy cat approved Edited August 9, 2016 by Osgeld

icemanxp300 #11 Posted August 11, 2016 I think you should modify the heating elements to imprint "Nintendo" into toast
eightbit #12 Posted August 11, 2016 We have had our Windows/Linux arguments/differences but aside all of that nonsense I have to say that you did a splendid job on this toaster and I absolutely respect the work that was involved. Congrats to the lucky buyer!
