Anyone remember "pieman"?

Recommended Posts

Yeah was quite a fun take on an arcade game, same company that did 'The Spy' games (strikes back and demise)..

Still a fun little game..

Penguin Software.

I actually just played this on Apple II as I recently pickup up a copy. I am a fan of food related video games.

I made it pretty far before those things (rats?) that are plopped in the middle of the screen as the difficulty ramps up prevented me from keeping up with the Tapper style Pie assembly action. Poor difficulty scaling and the arbitrary challenge of those pie filling stealing rates makes this one to cherish in my collection, but not one to play.

I bought a big box of floppy disks for my atari 800 and one of the games that came in it was pieman. Does anyone remember it from back in the day?

No, I did not remember this game. Thanks!

Played it in the high score club as a bonus game recently. Unfortunately it's way too easy, and yes you can be a "Master Baker" or maybe it was Baker Master :-o :-D

Really could do with some more players in the High Score Club here on Atariage - even if it's the odd go and score now and then :)
