Jason_Atari
Picked a mystique copy of beat 'em and eat 'em and was wondering what was more uncommon, the NTSC or PAL version. Mine is definitely the PAL version because of the P on the end label, P on the bottom right corner of the main label and colour palate when playing. I very rarely see these here in australia, and this one is the first i have found that is 100% PAL. Any help would be grateful
Rom Hunter
The PAL version is rarer. Loose: rarity 7-8 I would say. Still looking for a good front scan of this one for our database. http://www.atarimania.com/game-atari-2600-vcs-beat-em--eat-em_16221.htmlIf it's possible to scan yours, pleae let me know. Jason_Atari
I got my PAL copy from GameTraders for $50 I bought mine in a big bundle lot of games, worked out at $3 a game, so i'm happy What's the gametraders near you like? The one near me was ok, they used to get a bit of atari stock in now and then, but they have since closed down
ozzie_owl
Is this game worth picking up? A US Ebay seller is selling sealed copies at the minute.
high voltage
I think it's an alright Kaboom clone, worth playing.
Eggzone Revolution
Interesting. I didn't realize that there were two versions, one being more rare. I had a copy that came with a brown "leather" (?) case and plastic insert, plus large box... but I sold it many years ago.. unfortunately. I assume it was not the Pal version though, since it was purchased in the US in the early 80's. I agree with high voltage; it's actually not THAT terrible of a game, if you like Kaboom and prefer the humorous "theme" you get with this clone... it's a great game to bust out on Valentine's Day. atari181
More rare doesn't always mean worth more, especially when it comes to PAL games.
