Yakumo1975
This week I'm covering a game I'm always asked to take a look at. It's Megaman X3. There's more ports than you probably knew about.
Bloodreign
I know only of the SNES original, a PC version, a PS1 version, a Saturn version, it got emulated on MMXC for various consoles, and of course the crappy Sega Mega Drive pirated version. Also wasn't Rockman and Forte the true last Rockman game on the SFC, with a 1998 release? Edited May 21, 2022 by Bloodreign

Yes, that is right. I meant to say X3 was the last X Rockman release on the SFC. New video out today. Can we finally have some good mobile N64 emulation? I suppose it shows how much staying power Mega Man had since those systems welcomed 2D Mega Man in spite of focusing more on 3D otherwise. Speaking of being asked to look at versions of mass-ported games, have there been suggestions to do these: Lode Runner Prince of Persia Shanghai Pipe Dream SimCity Boulder Dash I also know you looked at Dragon's Lair before, but not really one that looks at the differences between versions, or is there no intention to do a video like that for the game at all?

The Usotsuki
The unofficial Prince ports were generally based on the same code, too - the C64 and BBC ports look pretty good, at least.

I mean, they go to the effort of using a Samsung OLED but everything else is just average. New video today. We are going all modern, well kind of. This week on Battle of the ports is Rayman 2.

We looked into this one on GTW https://www.gamesthatwerent.com/2020/12/fire-and-forget-2/ It's more than likely just a concept that never received approval. The cabinet appears to be a modified Afterburner II cabinet. There were a number of failed attempts to use Amiga and ST hardware to produce cheap Arcade machines. https://www.gamesthatwerent.com/2021/02/the-living-daylights/ https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.atari-forum.com/viewtopic.php%3Ft%3D30019&ved=2ahUKEwi8tpfbiev4AhXZPsAKHXUvB-QQFnoECAUQAQ&usg=AOvVaw1J0d8S8IFFdpO3wf-FY33g
SlidellMan
One thing I noticed with many European Commodore 64, Amiga, and ST games; the jumping mechanics are over-animated, which contributes to it being unresponsive.
