Starcastle for the A8?

Was a version of this (homebrew, hack, etc.) ever made for the A8? I've heard of one for the 2600, and from the few pics I've seen it looks pretty faithful to the arcade version.

I have to say the 2600 version looks very familiar as if I have seen a variant on the Atari but I'm also a massive mame head so mamybe I'm confusing it on there, but if memory serves me it was a vector game so that would not make sense, I swear I've seen something dead similar of the Atari....(or C64 )

The one that I (sort of) remembered was "Star Castle." There is a YouTube video of it, and the image is at Atarimania.

 

Edit: Yes, Star Island. Found it and then typed the wrong name!

Which I much preferred to the actual Galaxian's from Atari....Had a faster flow and the aliens came down correctly unlike the Atari official conversion..
