tygerbug #1 Posted September 11, 2016 http://tygerbug.deviantart.com/gallery/ Hi everyone! My name is Garrett Gilchrist. I've worked as an artist and filmmaker for twenty years. Recently, Team Pixelboy Games commissioned me to draw/paint the covers for Knight Lore, Wizard of War and QBiqs for the Colecovision. More recently than that, Intellivision Revolution commissioned me to draw/paint the covers to Blow Out, Hard Hat, Space Cadet and Inty Basic Showcase Volume 1, as well as some others we're not talking about yet. You can see my work in full quality here: http://tygerbug.deviantart.com/gallery/ I've loved working with Team Pixelboy and Intellivision Revolution. I'm available for paid work if anyone needs any.

tygerbug #7 Posted September 15, 2016 (edited) Thanks so much everyone! Asaki, I've mostly been working as an illustrator lately, but I'm definitely still doing writing and filmmaking as well. I've just moved back to Los Angeles as of last November and I'm struggling with money, but I've been shooting a new project I'm excited about, that I'll talk about when it's done. (I'm probably best known for my eight-year restoration of Richard Williams' animated classic The Thief and the Cobbler (2006-2013) as "The Recobbled Cut." My last feature as a filmmaker was "Shamelessly She-Hulk" in 07-08.) Edited September 15, 2016 by tygerbug
+digress #8 Posted September 16, 2016 The Thief and the Cobbler has the most disturbing end to an animated character ever. And disney apparently stole the character designs and used them as jaffar in Alladin Thanks so much everyone! tygerbug #9 Posted September 19, 2016 Yes, unfortunately Disney's "Aladdin" was quote unquote inspired by Richard Williams' nearly 30 years of work on The Thief. This was one of the factors that led to Warner Bros dropping the film, and to it never being completed.
Asaki #10 Posted September 20, 2016 I've just moved back to Los Angeles as of last November... Oh man, hopefully no more horror stories >_<
ColecoDan #11 Posted September 22, 2016 Isn't moving to Los Angeles a horror story in itself.
tygerbug #12 Posted September 23, 2016 It can be. I'm trying to be positive this time round. It's tough, but we'll see.
CrazyBoss #13 Posted September 26, 2016 Nice, looks good - a big mistake: The skater-girls have to small breasts learn something from Japanese game covers:)

artrag #15 Posted June 24, 2018 Do you have done also pixel art for those games?
tygerbug #16 Posted June 25, 2018 No, these are mostly ports of existing games, which I'm not involved with. I did pixel art for Royal Heroes, and in-game / cutscene art for Dead Tomb, Sydney Hunter, Maze Blaster and various personal projects.
