Nebulon #1 Posted September 13, 2016 So I tried running Stardust on a North American Atari 1040 STe and the bottom 15% of the screen is somewhere below the edge of the monitor. Is there a trick to getting the whole image to display on an SC1224?
ParanoidLittleMan #2 Posted September 13, 2016 Only by setting monitor"s vertical size (height) .
+DarkLord #3 Posted September 13, 2016 Going really far out because Ppera is probably right but the game's not running in the wrong 50/60 cycle is it? That will change screen size a bit...
MrMaddog #4 Posted September 13, 2016 I remember having to use a program to switch to 50hz before running Sinister Development's Galaxian to use the same type of borderless mode.
Nebulon #5 Posted September 14, 2016 Anyone know what the utility is called for switching modes? (or maybe a link to it) I tried the adjustment knobs on the back of the monitor and no go. So it looks like a software solution is the next step.
ParanoidLittleMan #6 Posted September 14, 2016 SW solution will not work - game is tied to 50 Hz refresh rate because of used overscan.

PLM said this wouldn't help, but here's a app that switches between 50/60hz mode, I'm using it on my STe because Exxos shipped me the UK TOS instead of US. 60HZ.ZIP
