Krytol #1 Posted May 2, 2003 I just found a Riddle of the Sphinx in the wild, and was excited to play it since it was an Imagic title I didn't have. I pop it in, power on, and it's Demon Attack! I already have Demon Attack. I can see where the screw holes have been torn out of the label. Why would someone do this? Anyone out there have a Demon Attack case with a Sphinx pcb in it? Witchfynde #2 Posted May 2, 2003 Oh man...that's crap!!! A friend of mine bought Laser Blast, but once he got home and opened it up, Pitfall 2 was inside, which was great, and someone on here did a trade with someone else, and when they opened the package from the mail, the first thing he was greeted with was a Combat box!! But the game he traded for was inside... But THAT is crap though, not getting what you wanted. My sympathies.
Xot #3 Posted May 3, 2003 I once found a picture label Sears Haunted House... got it home and it had freakin' Basic Math inside. To this day I've never seen another Sears Haunted House.
Keir #4 Posted May 3, 2003 Couldn't you just salvage the pcb from an Atari Haunted House?
Xot #5 Posted May 3, 2003 Couldn't you just salvage the pcb from an Atari Haunted House? Yeah, but it just wouldn't be the same, ya know?

MegaManFan #9 Posted May 3, 2003 I once found a picture label Sears Haunted House... got it home and it had freakin' Basic Math inside. To this day I've never seen another Sears Haunted House. Oddly enough that was a Sears game I found in a cheap bin for 50 cents before I was even COLLECTING Sears games. Now that I'm trying to get them all of course, none ever show up. Ain't it just the way!

Ain't it just the way! Hey, I'm trying to get 'em all too. We should swap lists so the we can keep an eye out for the other's stuff too. I'm just trying to get one of each, I'm not concerned with picture vs. text and I figure I have roughly 60% of them.
MegaManFan #11 Posted May 3, 2003 I'm just trying to get one of each, I'm not concerned with picture vs. text and I figure I have roughly 60% of them. Including label variations, I have just over 50%. If you take them out, I probably have a much higher percentage of the different unique games (well, "unique" being a loaded word since they are repackaged Atari releases except one or two, but you know what I mean). Anyway if you want to swap lists here's my most recently up-to-date, minus a Steeplechase I have coming in the mail. * 3D Tic-Tac-Toe (49-75123) * Adventure (49-75154) * Arcade Pinball (49-75161) * Asteroids (64 c 1980) * Asteroids (66 c 1981) * Asteroids (art: 49-75163) * Baseball (49-75125) * Baseball (6-99819) * Basketball (6-99826) * Berzerk (art: 49-75168) * Blackjack (99805) - no end label * Bowling (49-75117) * Breakaway IV (6-99813) * Canyon Bomber (49-75115) * Chase (99807) * Chase (art: 49-75105) * Circus (49-75122) * Dare Diver (49-75118) * Defender (art: 49-75186) * Dodger Cars (49-75158) * Golf (49-75121) * Gunslinger (49-75109) * Haunted House (art: 49-75141) * Maze (art: 49-75112) * Maze Mania (49-75157) * Memory Match (6-99814) * Missile Command (49-75166) * Night Driver (49-75119) * Outer Space (art: 49-75601) * Outer Space (99803) * Pac-Man (art: 49-75185) * Poker Plus (49-75151) * Poker Plus (art: 49-75151) - no end label * Pong Sports (49-75104) * Pong Sports (art: 49-75104) * Race (49-75149) * Soccer (49-75155) * Space Invaders (49-75153) * Space Invaders (art: 49-75153) * Speedway II (49-75103) * Speedway II (art: 49-75103) * Spelling (6-99811) * Star Raiders (art: 49-75187) * Stellar Track (49-75159) * Stellar Track (art: 49-75159) * Sumbarine Commander (art: 49-75142) * Super Breakout (49-75165) * Tank-Plus (49-75124) * Tank*Plus (99801) * Tank-Plus (6-99801) * Target Fun (49-75102) * Target Fun (99802) * Yars' Revenge (art: 49-75167)
