+Ksarul
Bud apparently had a massive stroke on the 15th and passed away at the ripe old age of 80. For those who didn't know him, Bud was a wonderful TI hobbyist who did a lot for the community while he was active. Several thousand Horizon RAM Disks in several different flavors attest to his community work. Bud and I were good friends for almost 30 years, going back to my first bulk order of HRD cards from him. I'll miss him. Rest in peace, my friend.
justacruzr2
Sorry to hear that. I purchased many different things from him over the years (back in the day) and he was one of my trusted sellers. He always dealt fairly and honestly. +Ksarul
He actually had everything set up to go to the Chicago Faire last year--but had a less-serious stroke three days before the Faire, and so was unable to come.
Omega-TI
This is sad news. I think almost everyone who's been into the TI over the years has heard the name, read an article from or about and possibly owned something by Bud Mills. My condolences to his family & friends. He was a worthy TI Hall of Fame recipient. RIP
sparkdrummer
I remember Bud was at the FestWest that VAST held here in Phoenix. I talked to him a bit, but not as much as I would have liked because his booth was always 3 deep with people. He was a great guy and definitely enriched the TI community. RXB
I will miss Bud, he was my partner for RXB in Western Horizon and Horizon. Ol Bud made me a custom made PGRAM, Horizon 4000 and SCSI card. I actually bought the first SCSI card, but they took it from me so they could develop a CD ROM driver for the SCSI card. Bud gave me another one and added a special modified upgrade later everyone else got to in later models. Rich P.S. Bud and I used to talk for an hour or so about what was going on. And I loved the drive we took from the Airport to the Chicago fair. Or he 2 days we spent together at a Fest West when I got my Horizon 4000. +acadiel
I remember seeing him at the TI Faire a couple of times. I thought the RAM Disk was the best thing since sliced bread when I got my first one in 2000.... Rest in peace, man.

+Lee Stewart
So sorry to hear this. R.I.P., Bud. I don't think I ever met him, unless he was at the Chicago Faire in 2013. So sad to lose another such significant contributor to our TI-99/4A. ...lee
Airshack
So sorry to hear of the loss of your friend Bud. Rest in Peace Bud. This reminds me of the need to start interviewing more TI'ers ala FloppyDays podcast style interviews. +InsaneMultitasker
Bud's TI attic would have been a good candidate for Tunnels of Doom. The work area was fun to poke around and look through things. A great person and a nice guy... he will be missed
