Steven Pendleton
Slap Fight on the Mega Drive (not Slap Fight MD) - 1,499,440 My first 2-all and my personal best for this game. Almost finished 3rd loop, too.

+jgkspsx
Haven’t been high score gaming outside of HSCs lately… time to fix that. V-Tetris (Virtual Boy) - 212530 Accidentally walked away without pausing and lost… lol. Space Squash (Virtual Boy) - 788150. Definitely the best implementation of this concept I’ve ever played. Robo-Squash on the Lynx is pretty great, but this is better. There is another one of these on the Genesis but I can’t remember the name… Blockout (arcade) - 6708. The robot face gives it more personality than the Lynx one but the music is depressing. Battle Lane Vol 5 (arcade) - 8500 or so but apparently it keeps the score of the recent player who got furthest, not who scored the most. I guess. And then I decided to get good at Human Cannonball (2600). Game 1 - easy Game 2: easy Game 3: pretty easy Game 4: pretty tricky Game 5-7: the barriers really drive me crazy. +jgkspsx
Some SG-1000 fun… Zoom 909 (aka Buck Rogers Planet of Zoom) - 27250. I cannot make it past the third section, which clearly inspired Thunder Force II. Champion Billiards (aka Lunar Pool) - 3410. Hard game!!

+jgkspsx
More SG-1000 and Mark III fun: Pit Pot (Mark III), beloved game of bootleg multicarts of old and unfairly forgotten: 98500 on Practice Choplifter (SG-1000): 600. Lolcry. N-Sub (SG-1000): 13650 Even for a launch game, it’s plain. It looks like an Intellivision game, and an early one at that. It’s a lot of fun, though. Steven Pendleton
Kyuukyoku Tiger (arcade/PS4) - 576210 Getting better. No missed the first ~45% of the game but then died on stage 4 and chain deathed the rest of my credit away. See all of those red caution markers on the small minimap? Yeah, that checkpoint is where I chain deathed. While I'm here, obligatory reminder that M2 ShotTriggers is amazing. +jgkspsx
I think I have finally cracked Pinball (Microvision) on default settings. 330 but I only got the feel on my next to last ball. While only masochists play Blockbuster on fast or short paddle, I think Pinball may need some tweaking to not get boring.
Steven Pendleton
Twin Cobra (arcade/PS4) - 592290 I don't play this game a lot, as I prefer the more powerful Kyuukyoku Tiger helicopter, even if it's slower.
+jgkspsx
I’m not sure if this was my high score or not, and I scored quite a bit more after I took this photo. (It IMMEDIATELY hides the score when you lose.) But it is probably closeish: Romeow and Julicat (Genesis) - 16427 And 2935 in the five minute arcade challenge. +jgkspsx
I felt bad that I hadn’t played Atari Arcade Collection 1 for the Evercade yet, so I played a full half hour of Canyon Bomber arcade. This was the best I could do. 344. I presume if you clear them all it resets? I don’t remember ever playing it before, and it’s a lot of fun! I never cared for the 2600 one that much, but the numbered blocks here add a lot more strategy and feeling of control. The cascading blocks also foreshadow hundreds of post-Tetris puzzle games - that’s a visionary little detail!

Steven Pendleton
Kyuukyoku Tiger (arcade/PS4) - 773120 Getting better. Can now consistently no miss up to stage 4. Could probably no miss no bomb to stage 4, but I'm not comfortable enough with the stage 3 boss yet. This game is very intimidating. I already no missed the game on super easy mode like a month ago and I am absolutely terrified of the final boss, even though there is a safe spot. @jgkspsx you still play this game('s PC Engine version)?
+jgkspsx
I should give it another go… I finally kind of figured out Alien Raiders for the Microvision. 171, by far my highest score ever. EDIT: make that 378.
