FS: Game Gear w/dim screen for parts/repair

I just picked up my first-ever Game Gear lot. Got one that works great and one that's... not so much. Is there any use for a Game Gear that powers on but has a really dim screen and no sound?

 

If someone wants to throw me $10 for it, or trade me this one for a few common carts, let me know. I only have 8-9 games for my working GG and I'd like to get more.

You can get a recap kit for the dim screen they are about $10.
