SIO2SD Low Memory?

Hi all.

 

Finally got an SIO2SD, and am running SIO2SD 3.5 on a stock 800XL. I still need to figure out getting it to load the menu at each boot, but am having a problem. I've not tested many games yet, but both of the versions of Yie Ar Kung Fu that I try and run (one is (256) and one is (320) say that there is 'Too Low Memory' when I run them.

 

Am I doing something wrong, or is there a setting that I need to change somewhere?

 

Also, has anyone created an English version of the manual for 3.5?

An 800xl has 64k RAM, the games you're attempting to run require 256k or 320k respectively. No stock Atari has enough RAM. You'll have to upgrade.

 

That particular game is beta as well... I've tried to run it on more than one expanded machines, only to have it freeze up right before gameplay.

Ahhhhh, of course, I was being so dumb when I posted that! I sort of read it as 32KB! Doh!
