1040STe disk problems - help!

So I found some old 720kb disks. I copied some ST programs onto them from my PC, and they worked in my ST. But when I went to format them on my PC, it refused to recognize the disks (often locking up when I selected the A: drive from My Computer.) Is there any way I can format these back so they'll work on my PC again? I don't care about the data; I care about the disks (they were originals from a boxed PC game.) Any help would be greatly appreciated.

try formatting them on your STE ... The pc should recognice the format ...

If nothing else use a bulk tape eraser or big figin magnet.

Then reformat on the PC
