I installed my gotek yesterday, flashed it with hxc and tested for a couple hours. Amazing, I do love floppies and still have my 314 hooked up, but the USB stick is just such a good solution.

 

I decided to go all in on the USB route and modded the case for it. I also ordered the Lcd setup and will be adding that shortly. Here's the drive bay now:
