FS: AV & Stereo Modded 2600 Vader Starter Kit SOLD

Bought this vader off ebay listed "as is for parts / not working" only thing wrong with it was dirty switches and some scuff marks on the case.

  • Scrubbed Case with warm water and dish soap, very clean!
  • Took apart all 7 switches and cleaned contacts with ultra fine ("polishing") scotch brite
  • Replaced 7805 Voltage regulator and added heat sink
  • Removed RF modulator and installed composite video mod featuring a FMS636x video buffer/driver/filter
  • Added Stereo mod without bending pins on the TIA chip, channel select switch now switches from stereo and mono (over stereo connection) function
  • Added power on LED indicator
  • AV connections via single plug 4 pole headphone style jack

  • Space Invaders Cart
  • Chopper Command Cart
  • Donkey Kong Cart
  • Aftermarket power supply
  • Stereo AV cable
  • 1 new joystick from atari flashback console

Nice little project. I have a similar Vader that I got on the bay about 6 years ago.

 

Good luck with the sale.

 

If I didn't have mine I would pick this one up!

This is a great deal from a great seller - If you have come to this site to investigate the 2600, you should buy this. I doubt you will ever find a better deal on an updated system.

Its 1 headphone style jack that has 4 poles instead of 3 the cable that plugs in to it branches out to r w y rca plugs

Is there any audio/video difference as compared to having the jacks separated?
