+InsaneMultitasker #28 Posted October 16, 2016 for me, MDOS is MDOS, as this is the historical and from legacy given name. I still find myself calling it MDOS even when I write "Geneve OS". As acronyms go, neither GDOS nor GOS "sound as good" to me as MDOS. I suppose we could even obscure things a bit with codenames... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Microsoft_codenames

mizapf #30 Posted October 16, 2016 I suppose we could even obscure things a bit with codenames... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Microsoft_codenames In that way: GeneveOS 6.7 (codename "Frank") (no, I don't know anyone by that name, but somehow The Naked Gun comes to my mind each time )

Omega-TI #36 Posted October 17, 2016 That's just flat out cool! Thanks, my plan is to have it at next years FW... hopefully by then there will be a case for the JediMatt's new Plug-N-Play 32K.
+InsaneMultitasker #37 Posted October 17, 2016 In that way: GeneveOS 6.7 (codename "Frank") (no, I don't know anyone by that name, but somehow The Naked Gun comes to my mind each time ) Considering the number of code contributors and the pieces of code integrated from SCSI, HFDC, Myarc FDC, and other peripherals, we could call it ....FrankenDOS....
