I have great news for everyone. You will be able to purchase your own personal copy of Jr. Pac-Man in early 2017, courtesy of Intellivision Revolution! :)

This whole thread was just a fun way to reveal a newly programmed game, similar to the way the Atari 7800 version was revealed in 2009. I hope that no one is upset, since it was all in good fun. :P

But wait... there's more! Jr. Pac-Man will be playable at PRGE at the Intellivision Revolution booth. :-D

The final version will be for 2 players. It will also include intermission screens. The version being shown now is a WIP. Currently, all 7 arcade levels are complete, and the game will also include new bonus levels. More info and progress is coming soon. :) :) :)

Here is the tentative box art:

And here is the PRGE promo sign:

And here are 2 screen shots:

Thank you to Rev for asking me to do this (both the thread and the reveal). It was a lot of fun! :) :) :)

And thank you all for being such good sports! :P :P :P

But most of all, if I may go off-script for a moment (and Rev will probably kill me for doing so)...

Thank you to Rev for promising me a free copy when it releases. :-D :-D :-D

Ouch! I really thought it was a proto game found. :rolling: Silly me!

Edit: just noted that the first image in post #101 is an animated GIF!

Very good. But the cartridge in the video has two chips and the one in the photo has one chip. So what are those bare boards anyway, are they Atarisoft?

The "proto" is a centipede pcb.

All other pcbs are generic commons.

In the system? Its a secret. Mmmwahahaha
