Found a Bunch of Intellivision Games on Craigslist

I have great news for everyone. You will be able to purchase your own personal copy of Jr. Pac-Man in early 2017, courtesy of Intellivision Revolution! :)

This whole thread was just a fun way to reveal a newly programmed game, similar to the way the Atari 7800 version was revealed in 2009. I hope that no one is upset, since it was all in good fun. :P

But wait... there's more! Jr. Pac-Man will be playable at PRGE at the Intellivision Revolution booth. :-D

The final version will be for 2 players. It will also include intermission screens. The version being shown now is a WIP. Currently, all 7 arcade levels are complete, and the game will also include new bonus levels. More info and progress is coming soon. :) :) :)

Here is the tentative box art:

And here is the PRGE promo sign:

And here are 2 screen shots:

Thank you to Rev for asking me to do this (both the thread and the reveal). It was a lot of fun! :) :) :)

And thank you all for being such good sports! :P :P :P

But most of all, if I may go off-script for a moment (and Rev will probably kill me for doing so)...

Thank you to Rev for promising me a free copy when it releases. :-D :-D :-D

Almost read that as, "Free copy of my ass. Hehehehe"

Surely he is making a plaster mold for the special edition.

Ouch! I really thought it was a proto game found. :rolling: Silly me!

Edit: just noted that the first image in post #101 is an animated GIF!

Very good. But the cartridge in the video has two chips and the one in the photo has one chip. So what are those bare boards anyway, are they Atarisoft?

The "proto" is a centipede pcb.

All other pcbs are generic commons.

In the system? Its a secret. Mmmwahahaha

Anyway. Thanks to everyone for putting up with our cheezy stunt. Just trying to have a new and fun way for a game reveal.

Hope everyone will enjoy this when it is finally completed.

Thanks.

I had a hunch..... Way too many things weren't adding up.

Very nice looking title and looking forward too it. I just wish the box had been done in the Atarisoft style.

Atarisoft style is boring...and pink...well, and it don't fit my template of other releases.

Sorry!

With all due respect, Rev found the perfect person to do this. Had me fooled. Any of the rest of you wouldn't be quite so casual about "hey I found this weird board with a hand-labelled ROM".

That's fine, the guy making the fake Imagic/Atari boxes will just have one more to add.

I definitely think this one should be yellow. Just feels like at least one of the Pac Man games should be made this way. :)
