Steve Mynott #1 Posted October 22, 2016 (edited) I've done something rather stupid and pushed the SD card inside the SD2SIO box itself (not even sure how I did this but it now rattles when I shake it!) It still works with another card but I was wondering if anyone knew how to open the plastic box (which looks professionally sealed to me) so I can get the card out? Bob The Bug #2 Posted October 22, 2016 I did this as well - if you take the rubber feet off you can access the screws...!
Steve Mynott #3 Posted October 22, 2016 I did this as well - if you take the rubber feet off you can access the screws...! You are a life saver Bob! Problem solved! The feet even stick back on.
Bob The Bug #4 Posted October 22, 2016 The slot on the case is just tall enough that if you insert the card at a slight angle, it misses the internal slot - which is easy to do! I actually emailed Lotharek in a panic as I thought (as you did) there was no way to open the case and I was going to have to send it back... lol... I felt like a bit of a twit when he said you can remove the rubber feet!
+slx #5 Posted October 23, 2016 I have one built into an XC12 case and managed to push the whole board from its mounts, necessitating a complete disassembly and installation of an extra retaining bracket for the board.
