How things have changed

Recommended Posts

I know that at least one model of the CD-i used the same transport as the Jaguar, but so do some home CD players. It's just a transport and doesn't mean anything in terms of the two systems being related. But I realize that facts generally are outweighed by fantasy and speculation here in Jagland.

Haven't you realized that 10 000 times by now in you pay and annoy campaign....?

Facts are annoying to you?

Your sour opinion on constant repeat annoys me, yes, and your chauvinism doesn't make it any better.

What you contribute with here are ideas to make the Jaguar hardware work for those who own a broken one, good, but what is the point with a fixed Jaguar when everything that runs on it sucks and anyone enjoying it are more or less insane (except you, by some inverted reasoning). Some more facts only. You like facts?

Now we can play things like Bubble Bobble on them fancy bee carts and Pro Controllers are selling for $200+.. we're still missing our "adult" entertainment though, the 2600 has the Jag beat on that.

This makes me want to port Drunken Pooper to the Jag even more. The adult gamers need relief!

bubble bobble don't suck.

I think you took my statement the wrong way, I love them ports coming over to carts. The comment about the pro controller was just because it's so crazy to see it sell for so much lately.

I paid I think around $100 on a BIN a couple years ago for one, which I thought was pretty crazy. Now it's even more insane. Too bad that the chances of a warehouse find of pro controllers is pretty much zero unless Best happens to discover some in their stash.

Let me tell you how much of a f**king idiot I am.

I know if I sold all of my Atari Jaguar stuff, I could probably get close to $10,000 for all of it.

Likewise, my house in Fort Lauderdale... which I bought for $240k about 13 years ago, is now valued at over $500,000 and I have over $300k in equity.

I'm moving to San Antonio in 3 months for work... I could sell both and buy a mansion... WITH CASH... and all my paychecks would just go into savings or to buy dumb stuff.

Instead, I'm too emotionally attached to my Jaguar, and my house near the beach, etc... (on the thought I might move back one day).

It's one thing to be ignorant of your situation... it's another to be totally cognizant of it, and still make dumb decisions.
