Arcade Games You'd Like To See Ported To The Atari 7800

Is it just me or do 2 of the characters in the poster above look disturbingly like Jumpman/Mario (with a red boxing glove instead of a hat) and Donkey Kong (holding Jumpman's hammer)! And judging by the attached gameplay video, it appears there are fireballs/foxes that chase the Jumpman-like character also!

And the gameplay of Amidar.

It *will* happen.

You sir, are my new Hero!!!

Wait a minute I think you're my old hero too...Not that I'm calling you old...

You rule!

Cheers!

Wha?? So, I don't have to come up with a list of unspeakable things I would do for this to become a reality?

I think you should come up with a list anyway...I mean I'd like to see the list...

Ah, yes...Donkey Kong 3 - Dai Gyakushuu under the Sharp X1. More of a sequel than a port of the Arcade original DK 3. Stanley returns, only one (invisible) platform though, and the insects are more Galaga-ish in approach, complete with an Alien/ET backdrop theme. Too early to call X-Files, but it is sort of Donkey Kong meets the X-Files vibe. At least someone should be questioning how DK must be hit square in the butt to win. And are those parachutes 'borrowed' from Balloon Fight? :P

Hopefully the other two ports will be distributed publicly, someday. ;)

Dragon Buster (Which was referenced in Tales of Legendia)

The first game with Double Jumping, a life bar, and branching paths. However, I'd add the improved controls of the NES/Famicom version, the title screen art of the MSX version, and the intro of the PC-8801 version.
