Nic886710 Posted October 30, 2016 Share Posted October 30, 2016 Hello i recently got a CV lot and when i got to plug it in all my games come up in black and whiter. i tried switching from channel 3-4 and other common troubleshooting tips anyone got anymore or have experience in fixing this issue . AdamCB Posted October 30, 2016 Share Posted October 30, 2016 I bought one back in April that had the same issue. For me it was a capacitor with a broken leg at position C70. If you open your cart door and look to the right edge of the opening the capacitor, ceramic disk type, in question is right there. mightywiz Posted October 30, 2016 Share Posted October 30, 2016 (edited) Is the black & white picture clean and clear? or is it also snowy and black/white? if it's snowy then you may need to adjust the frequency adjustment in the RF modulator section. over time parts change value and may have drifted off frequency slightly. if it's clean then i would check the cap next to the cartridge port as suggested, I have also had this issue with the very first colecovision I owned in the 80's.
