+adamantyr #1 Posted November 8, 2016 (edited) Ugh... so I was moving my TI around and I didn't notice, but my CF card reader got broken in the move. Specifically, the small plastic holder piece that kept the CF card in place snapped off. I tried super-gluing it back onto the board, but it didn't work, I just get a blank cyan screen... likely the pins are misaligned or some other part is broken. Unfortunately, Jaime Mailong, the creator of the reader, appears to be gone... I was curious if anyone had extra parts like this they could send me? I have an older back-up CF that had no power switch on it I can use, but I'm slightly nervous that I'm now down to one working one. UPDATE: My back-up doesn't work either. It powers up to the title screen just fine but locks up in Extended BASIC. DM2 shows files on the disks, my guess is the 32K RAM initialization is failing for some reason. Hopefully that's the broken part and not something on the main board... I'll order a few, thanks!
