Vorticon #7 Posted November 11, 2016 All I get is junk mail. Everything else is electronic. I'm thinking of replacing my mailbox with a David replica (would love to see the mailman's reaction to this...)

+OLD CS1 #9 Posted November 11, 2016 All I get is junk mail. Everything else is electronic. I'm thinking of replacing my mailbox with a David replica (would love to see the mailman's reaction to this...) I got a threatening notice from the Postal Service about a mailbox at a house I was renting. They told me it was too low and if I did not raise it Postal deliveries would cease. Oh, please, like I would care!
+Ksarul #10 Posted November 11, 2016 My mailbox was a happy TI place today. I got a package from Ciro, my manual from Adam, and a package from Marc. Actually it has been a happy TI week, as I got my TI pins on Tuesday. . .

Shift838 #16 Posted November 26, 2016 Oh Joy.... 20161125_180612.jpg you are gonna love the F18A. Easy to install and a superb device!
Sinphaltimus #17 Posted November 26, 2016 (edited) you are gonna love the F18A. Easy to install and a superb device! No doubt. Just, I'm no where near ready to install it yet. I want to setup another console with just an f18a and nanopeb. Yes, I decided I wanted one for the serial to connect to my PC Rig work space. Basically, I have a modded TI Console connected to a modded peb without an f18a for testing things and keeping connected to an old tube tv. The next console I want to setup is going to be integrated in to my current workspace. This is the one I was going to do the internal speech synth mod, use [email protected]'s 32k side port and the f18a. Instead of the 32k side port on this one, I'm going to connect a nanopeb so I can use the serial to connect directly to my pc. In order to complete this integration, I need a monitor stand that the TI will fit under (I may just make one), the nano peb and to do the internal speech synth in the console mod. I also want to add the USB keyboard mod to this console. And of course the reset button mod. Which means 2 modded consoles. Eventually, I'd like to setup a third. Plain jane vanilla console with no mods. I'll use [email protected]'s 32k on that one. I should probably pick up another FlashRom99 also. But not right now. This third console will be to test 16k stuff (by simply unplugging the sidecart 32k). I read some recent posts about 16k console development and I think that's a great idea. Keeping the entire community inclusive is a nice goal for everyone with an unexpanded console. I know I wish I could run it all but without a SAMS card or grom carts, I can't run it all. And that exclusivity just puts a bug in me to get an ubgergrom board and a SAMS card eventually. Not everyone is as stubborn and tenacious as I am in having it all and having it all now. So I think my next programming adventure (after ZOMBi) will be to upgrade MUSICK to v2.0, add features and compile it for unexpanded consoles. And somewhere in there I have to put my Amiga 500 in to a full sized tower case. I'd like to complete these before the end of the year. That's usually when I burn the last of my vacation time to be at home during the holidays. This year, I'll be locked in the basement for a time. LOL. Omega-TI #19 Posted November 30, 2016 Hmmm... something new arrived in the mail today! Just in time for all those newly made Nano-PEB's arriving this Christmas season. I guess I'll have to try to make a new video next week when I have some time and update my blog.
+phoenixdownita #20 Posted November 30, 2016 YES! Pay attention to the timer, mine snapped the spring mechanism after timer reset number 2 .... the "metal" spring literally snapped at the seam where it inserts into the plastic handle .... now I use a kitchen timer
