atari 1435 monitor

pick up today atari monitor sc 1435 , can someone tell me is this good monitor for retro consoles and computers, i have few commodore monitors at home this is first atari i have, any information?

The CS1435 is use for the ST line Atari PC's it's not to work with an A8 but its a good monitor!

SC1435 is good for A8s with VBXE, STs, Amigas and anything else which outputs 15KHz RGB. No good for unmodified C64s.

Oh, that's right A8s with VBXE, oh you can use for the Atari Jaguar too!

Its a good rgb monitor only no composite or svideo thats suitable for Atari 8-bit.

 

A good monitor to use with an Atari Jaguar.

It can also work nicely with any system that uses analog RGB like the Apple IIgs. You just need to make the appropriate cable. I've been using a 1435 with my Apple IIgs for years.

It does not have Composite inputs. You can get a Commodore 1084S-P monitor and swap the guts and then it will have those inputs! That is what I did.

The Commodore 128 uses digital RGBI not "normal" analog RGB. You'd need some signal converter to use it.

It's a stand that is removable. Snaps on the bottom. From Atari

 

did stand goes with monitor or must be buyed separately
