Stage_1_Boss #1 Posted November 21, 2016 (edited) Pink Gorilla here in Seattle, Washington just posted this a bit ago, looks like they got in a bunch of Jaguar stuff. Thought this might be neat for some of ya, not often you see this many boxed games or systems for the Jaguar at a game store, at least not locally. Clint Thompson #2 Posted November 21, 2016 Nice.... out of curiosity, did you get the prices they're asking for the lot?
+doctorclu #3 Posted November 21, 2016 That is beautiful. They seem to know it is rare too the way they have that displayed.
Stage_1_Boss #4 Posted November 21, 2016 Nice.... out of curiosity, did you get the prices they're asking for the lot? I'm unsure of prices, this photo was just placed on their facebook page last night. I might be able to swing in this coming weekend, I'd like to get Dragon's Lair and Space Ace on Jag CD. = )
Rick Dangerous #5 Posted November 21, 2016 I shudder to think what they want for that pile. Probably 3k....
Clint Thompson #6 Posted November 21, 2016 I shudder to think what they want for that pile. Probably 3k.... I would hope not. I tend to keep my fingers crossed that I could someday find a set like this for a very reasonable price to keep for myself personally but I doubt such a thing will ever happen for under $500. Really makes one miss the $29 KBToy days and $10 games.

82-T/A #8 Posted November 21, 2016 I usually go to the Miami SuperCon (ComicCon show in Miami)... I take my daughter who always dresses up either as Darth Vader or some My Little Pony... but there's always a lot of video games there. Any time I see a section with Atari Jaguar stuff, they always want some totally insane price.. like $100+ for Checkered Flag or something... I always look, as if I expect to see some kind of rare prototype of Wing Commander or something on the Jaguar... but always the same crap... Brutal Sports Football, Checkered Flag, and a bunch of Cybermorphs unboxed.
+doctorclu #9 Posted November 21, 2016 I always look, as if I expect to see some kind of rare prototype of Wing Commander or something on the Jaguar... but always the same crap... Brutal Sports Football, Checkered Flag, and a bunch of Cybermorphs unboxed. I know what you mean. I look at stuff like this and I don't know why I look anymore. I have all the originals I want, all the accessories I want. I even have games never released. I guess it is just good to see this in the wild. Of course I could always use more controllers. AdeptRapier #10 Posted November 21, 2016 I live in Seattle and have been to Pink Gorilla many times...I shudder to think what they will ask for this considering they have asked over $300 for just a Jaguar in the box before.
AdeptRapier #11 Posted November 21, 2016 I bet they will price this close to $1000.
+Cobra Kai #12 Posted November 22, 2016 I bet they will price this close to $1000. That lot is nice, very clean and CIB everything. It would get $1k on ebay, probably more. So, I would say even more in a brick and mortar. I would be tempted to buy that CIB Jag CD, that is in very good shape. That is cool though, I have never seen such a Jaguar lot in a game store yet. SuperDork3000 #13 Posted November 22, 2016 I guesstimate that lot(if it's actually sold as a lot), to be around $1500-$2000.
Umberto #14 Posted November 22, 2016 Out of curiosity what do you guys think my collection is worth? 2 cd units boxed 5 base units 2 boxed catbox procontroler 2 team taps skunk board and various other junk thanks
+Cobra Kai #15 Posted November 22, 2016 Certainly a person who's acquired such a meticulous collection like that has an idea of it's value already. Nice set by the way.
Umberto #16 Posted November 22, 2016 Certainly a person who's acquired such a meticulous collection like that has an idea of it's value already. Nice set by the way. I'm thinking of selling, between jobs and hardly ever play any more!
+madman #17 Posted November 22, 2016 $1,000 for that lot at a B&M would be low. Hell, that'd be low for this forum considering what boxed Jag CDs are going for these days. Then you figure Rayman, Defender 2000, and the longboxes of Space Ace and Dragon's Lair. In any case, I'd be surprised if they're selling it as one lot, they'd have to find the right buyer to sell that all at once.
leech #18 Posted November 22, 2016 (edited) Nice! I think Umberto should give me a good deal on at least some of the bits I am missing. Sadly my Ultra Vortek and Primal Rage went missing / was stolen many years ago and I haven't wanted to pay the extortion prices for them... skip #23 Posted November 23, 2016 There's numerous items in that lot that I'd be very interested in acquiring - Catbox, World Tour Racing, Total Carnage, Worms, Soccer Kid, Hockey, Impulse X, Braindead 13, and a few of the homebrews, and maybe even some of the other stuff I already have (all of the original games bar one, and many post Atari releases).Seriously very interested. +jeremiahjt #24 Posted November 24, 2016 They own a retro gaming store. Of course they know what is rare and what isn't. I have been in plenty of retro gaming stores where they do not actually know very much beyond Nintendo/Sega/Playstation/Xbox. Now something like this coming in they would have definitely taken the time to do some research, but they may have known next to nothing about the Jaguar before this lot came in.
Umberto #25 Posted November 24, 2016 Most shops that I have seen will have 2600, 5200 ect. consoles but I haven't seen a shop with jag stuff for over 15 years. But the shop owners I have talked to know the value.
