mbd30
Look at sinister's speedrun tutorial. I never knew this game was so deep. I've been playing for years and this makes me feel like a beginner. There are more parts on his channel, but here are the first two.

Pixelboy
That is actually quite fascinating. It gives you a peek into the mind of a speed runner.
Austin
Lots of depth, no doubt. To be fair, that uber-depth is really only something you're going to need to know when speedrunning the game. Still, it goes to show there's more under the hood to a lot of these old games than people give them credit for.
Dripfree
Awesome video. I am going to spend some time studying these videos. I can say I did realize how complex this game was. It's one I have never been very good at. I come back to it from time to time and maybe learn a new trick or two from trial and error, but not much. I have watched people play that were very good, and I was still unable to glean very much. I was able to tell there was a large amount of patern recognition taking place, combined with very precise timing. This would take years to learn through trial and error and since I can't exchange tricks in the school luch room anymore I think I'm going to spend some time with this guys videos. They seem to be a near perfect tutorial.
+madman
I've been beating that game since I was a kid, but it wasn't until a few years ago when I read some articles and watched videos about the quickest ways to beat the opponents that I really understood the game. It's one of those games that I feel will never get old. Even the artwork still looks great all these years later.
