Crimefighter #2 Posted December 25, 2016 Donkey Kong 2 is the eight screen upgrade for Donkey Kong machines. D2K is the conversion of DK2 for the Intellivision.
VectorGamer #3 Posted December 27, 2016 Donkey Kong 2 is the eight screen upgrade for Donkey Kong machines. D2K is the conversion of DK2 for the Intellivision. Incorrect - they are both called D2K. The arcade games is called "DIIK: Jumpman Returns" and the INTV game is called "D2K Arcade."
mr_me #4 Posted December 28, 2016 Yes, "D2K Jumpman Returns" (aka Donkey Kong II) from Jeff Kulczycki is an interesting rom hack upgrade for the original arcade game. It introduces five new screens. http://www.jeffsromhack.com/products/d2k.htm There was an unrelated Donkey Kong II Game and Watch handheld from Nintendo. The Intellivision "D2K Arcade" by Carl Mueller Jr is based on some of Jeff's screens but also introduces two unique screens. Then there's "D2K Arcade Special Edition" for Intellivision which is more faithfull to Jeff's version. Then there is the impressive "Donkey Kong Remixed" for the Tandy CC3 adding six new screens. http://users.axess.com/twilight/sock/dkremix/ Don't know about Donkey Kong 2000. +save2600 #5 Posted December 28, 2016 Donkey Kong 2000 sounds like it was to be for the Atari Jaguar.
