I can't get across the river when the girl goes to the other side. I keep drowning. How do you get across the river?

How do you get across the river?

I haven't messed around with that proto in quite a while, but from what I remember you just run and jump over it. You need to be right on the edge and time your jump just right. Not much more to it than that.
