San Francisco Rush - Early Footage

Recommended Posts

I wanted to a thread dedicated to San Fransisco Rush, but then I forgot I had posted this in December.

The main things I wanted to discus, SF Rush Extreme Racing and Rush The Rock: Alcatraz Edition ran on a 200 MHz MIPS R5000 CPU coupled with a souped-up 3Dfx Voodoo1 based graphics card with dual TMUs and 10 MB RAM (consumer Voodoo Graphics cards in late 1996 had 1 TMU and 4 MB RAM) and a IDE PC harddrive All within the Atari Flagstaff Hardware.

Edit: It's really fun reading these, especially the preview above the claim that the graphics are exact, in every respect, to the arcade version and runs at 60fps, like the arcade.
Haha, the arcade game itself was only 30fps.
And then in the review article they say the graphics are "nowhere near the quality of the arcade".
Corrections were published in the update preview below.

This compilation is great!

I have 2 Rush cabs linked, and it's one of the better arcade driving games imo.
